What's the difference between content and copywriting?
Content writing focuses on longer content and is used to create engaging, creative, and informative content for blog posts, books, or educational pieces. Do you provide document formatting services?
Yes, detailed and substantive editing includes minor formatting services such as consistency in font size, type, and colour, line and paragraph spacing, UK or USA spelling conventions, pagination, and margins. Please include your formatting requirements when submitting your document.
What are style guides?
Style guides are used to ensure consistency in writing, formatting, referencing, and designing documents. There are multiple preset style guides used by universities and companies world wide, such as APA 7th, Oxford, and Harvard. Your company or publishing house should determine the style guide according to which your work should be edited.
Please note that Inksight Studio will use the Oxford Style Guide if a specific guide is not stipulated.

Email us with your editing, writing, or translating needs. Fill out your contact details below and choose between basic copy-editing, detailed editing, substantive editing, content creation, and Spanish/Afrikaans translation to get started.
Terms and Conditions
Projects of R10,000 ($560, €495, £415) or less must be paid in advance.
A 25% deposit is required for orders over R10,000 ($560, €495, £415); the rest will be invoiced once the project is completed.
Projects of R15,000 ($840, €720, £625) or more can be divided into instalments, which means the service and payments will be completed over two or more months. (Not applicable to retainers.)
We keep a log of the number of hours spent on the document for projects above R10,000 ($560, €495, £415) to ensure that the final invoice is calculated fairly and accurately.
Travel time of half an hour or more to on-site meetings (possible between 09:00 and 15:00 SAST) will contribute to the time spent on the project or be considered part of the allocated hours per month in a retainer package.
Requested overtime work (before 08:00 SAST, after 17:00 SAST, Fridays, and Saturdays) and short-notice projects will result in a 20% increase in the hourly rate.
